About.

From Open Desert to Vibrant Neighborhood.

The Twin Palms neighborhood is located in the south end of Palm Springs, California. Until the mid-1950’s, it was mostly open desert. Over the past 6 decades a serendipitous set of factors intersected to create the vibrant and diverse community we live in today.

When the Twin Palms Neighborhood Organization was formed in 2013, we began to uncover the rich heritage of people and architectural design elements that have played a role in creating today’s Twin Palms. In this section of the website you will learn more about both the neighborhood’s history and the role the Twin Palms Neighborhood Organization plays in preserving our legacy and promoting an equally exciting future..
