The third Twin Palms Neighborhood Organization General Membership meeting was held at the recently reopened state-of-the-art Palm Springs Fire Department Station # 4.
Over 50 people enjoyed juicy hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings cooked on the new built-in BBQ donated by a $1,500 TPNO Community Grant. Rounding out the lunch were chips, drinks, and delicious salads and cookies from Aspen Mills Bakery.
A short business meeting was held before lunch was served. The minutes of the April 6, 2019 Annual Meeting and a new Advisory Board member Brent Apt were approved. In addition to several announcements, everyone involved in requesting and reviewing the $1,500 Fire Station Grant was thanked.
Battalion Chief Michael Smith and members of the Fire Station # 4 were thanked for hosting us today and making the station available for our meeting.
After lunch, everyone had the opportunity for guided tours of the fire station
