The Twin Palms Neighborhood Organization held its Fifth Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9:45 am at the Indian Canyon Country Club.
Almost 50 people enjoyed a contentinal breakfast prior to the meeting where we celebrated our accomplishments over the past year and planned for our future. Members had an opportunity before and after the formal meeting to socialize with their neighbors, and also to explore the new William Krisel Twin Palms Exhibit.
Highlights of the meeting included Remarks by City Council Member Lisa Middleton, information on the Krisel Exhibit and Sponsorship Program, launch of our TPNO website, recap of ongoing activities including 2018 TPNO Modernism Week Tour, January Social Event, status of Monument Signs, and open membership discussion.
The Second Annual Eric Chiel TPNO Leadership Award was presented to Stan Sartor, and a Neighborhood Architectural Award was presented to Jim High and Gary Kramer for the restoration of their home on La Jolla.
